Quesnel Lake is full of wild rainbow, lake, and bull trout. We're a new non-profit raising funds for the adaptive gear that will put the catch of a lifetime within everyone's reach.
There's nothing quite like the pull of a giant wild rainbow trout on the line. Our goal is simple: make sure a spinal injury, chronic illness, or mobility need never stands between someone and that moment.
We have a pontoon boat on the water and a lake full of trout. What we're raising funds for is the adaptive equipment — electronic reels, specialized tackle, and roll-on ramps — that makes the sport possible for everyone. As a non-profit, every excursion we build toward will be provided at no cost to our participants.
Quesnel Lake holds massive wild rainbow trout, lake trout, and bull trout in its pristine waters — the reason we're here.
Electronic reels would do the heavy work of retrieving line, opening big-fish angling to anglers of every strength and dexterity — a key piece of gear we're raising funds for.
Adaptive gripping tackle to keep rod and reel secure and controllable, hands-free or one-handed as needed — on our list to acquire.
As we grow, trips will be led by guides trained in adaptive recreation, wilderness survival, and medical safety protocols.
Our pontoon boat is ready today. With your support we'll add roll-on ramps so anglers can board and fish with no transfers.
Operating June through September, we make the most of long Cariboo summer days during the peak fishing season.
Beautiful wild rainbow trout like this are exactly why we're doing this. With the right adaptive equipment, landing one becomes possible for anglers of every ability.
Whether you're a lifelong angler or casting for the very first time, our aim is to meet you where you are — and let Quesnel Lake do the rest.
Help Fund the Gear
We operate seasonally from June 1 through September 30, the peak of the Cariboo fishing season. These pristine summer months give us the safest conditions and the longest days on the water.
Every excursion we build toward will be fully supported and tailored to your abilities and goals. Tell us what you'd like to catch and how you like to fish, and we'll build the day around you.
Plan your stay for details on getting here and what to bring, or learn about our accessible boat tours.
Your gift funds the electronic reels, adaptive tackle, and ramps that make barrier-free fishing real on Quesnel Lake.
