We have a pontoon boat on Quesnel Lake. As a new non-profit, we're raising funds for the roll-on ramps and accessible dock that will let anyone board — no transfers, no barriers.
Steep docks and awkward boarding routinely cut people off from the water. We're determined to engineer that barrier out of the experience entirely.
We already have the pontoon boat. With our donors' help, we're adding the roll-on ramps and accessible dock that will let guests roll aboard from shore to seat and settle in — then let a guide take them out to explore, relax, or fish. As a non-profit, every tour we build toward will be provided at no cost to our participants.
Our pontoon is a broad, steady platform that stays comfortable and secure out on the lake. It's the boat we have today, and the heart of every tour we're building toward.
Next, with your support, we'll add roll-on wheelchair ramps so guests can board directly in their own chair — no transfers to negotiate, with room to move on deck.
Pontoon ready · Ramps to come
We're raising funds to build a dock to accessibility standards, for a smooth, dignified transition from shore to boat.
Ramps to let guests board directly in their wheelchair — no lifts to wait for and no transfers required. High on our list to acquire.
Our pontoon's wide, stable hull keeps the ride steady and leaves open deck space to move around comfortably.
As we grow, tours will be piloted by people trained in adaptive recreation, wilderness survival, and medical safety protocols.
Prefer to cast a line? The same pontoon will host our adaptive fishing excursions on Quesnel Lake.
As a registered non-profit, every tour is offered free of charge to our participants and their families.
Some come for the quiet: the mountains reflected on still water, the wind and the wilderness. Others come for the thrill of a wild trout on the line. On the water, the choice will be yours, and your guide will adapt the day to it.
We operate during the season of June 1 through September 30, when daylight is long and conditions are at their best.

Your gift funds the ramps and accessible dock that turn our pontoon into a boat anyone can board. Or tell us when you'd like to visit and we'll plan around what's ready today.
